I am wearing: Skirt-Zara; Shirt-Topshop; Jacket-Joseph; Boots-Hermes; Bag-Louis Vuitton; Sunnies-Thierry Lasry
Hello from Paris,
I
this beautiful city of culture there is always something interesting
and creatively stimulating to do and to visit. On one of the first days
of fall, as the weather was still nice and not too cold I went on to
check the 50s fashion exposition in Palais Galliera. The exposition
included dresses of fashion designers dating back 1947-1957 with some of
the finest creations for the time of Christian Dior, Chanel, Elsa
Schiaparelli, Jacques Heim, Christobal Balenciaga and Carven. I was
pleasantly surprised to see that many of the models are still wearable
and modern today.
I
wanted to wear something chick yet classy this day as I had some work
meetings later on as well. First I decided on wearing those Hermes boots
and then I built the rest of the outfit around them. I bought them
couple of years ago and have only used them 1-2 times but this fall as
the knee boots are back I have the feeling they will be part of many
outfits to come. What I love about this skirt is how versatile it is,
depending on the rest of the outfit could be very classy or edgy.
Enjoy!
xx Z & G
